Welcome to the very-first edition of “Xpress” here on RingsideXcess.com with the latest rumblings from behind-the-scenes in WWE, TNA and Ring of Honor. Below you will find some tidbits of information that have been circulating this week:
- We have a few updates in the works for the Xcess Update, including the real story behind the reported heat on Evan Bourne and a fiasco with a top WWE star against Brock Lesnar returning. Subscribe here.
- There has been talk about several top TNA stars leaving soon. One name being talked about a lot is Ken Anderson, who has not been on TNA television for several weeks. Another name being talked about is Rob Van Dam.
- Retired NBA star Shaquille O’Neal is reportedly on board to work a gimmick celebrity match at WrestleMania 28. Talked about for his opponent is Big Show, whom O’Neil had a face-to-face with when he guest hosted RAW back in 2009.
- Chris Hero will be undergoing a new physical for WWE within the coming weeks after initially failing his first a few months ago for high levels of testosterone. Should Hero pass this go around, he would be in WWE developmental by late-May or early-June.
