Backstage News On WWE’s Upcoming Program On The ION Television Network
For those who may not know by now, WWE will be introducing a new weekly television program to their line-up called WWE Main Event on Wednesday, October 3rd on the ION Television network. It will feature in-ring action as well as live experiences from the audience.
Regarding plans for the series, the company is looking to make a big deal out of the premiere in a similar fashion to the first episode of the WWE Superstars revival a couple of years ago. Preliminary plans as of mid-July have a few big names appearing in the first episode.
The person who is in charge of this new television project is Triple H, who also helms the talent department at WWE headquarters. Besides his recent work with the ongoing changes down in developmental, it is considered to be his biggest project as a company executive to date.
