Randy Orton Set To Star In The Sequel To WWE Studios’ 12 Rounds
WWE issued a press release today announcing that Randy Orton will star in WWE Studios’ next film titled 12 Rounds: Reloaded, the sequel to the 2009 film 12 Rounds which starred John Cena. Filming will begin in late-September in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The film, which centers around an EMT (Orton) who finds himself caught in a deadly 12-round game of cat and mouse with a vengeful man tied to the his past in an attempt to save his wife before it’s too late, is the final co-production as part of the deal with 20th Century FOX Home Entertainment.
We exclusively reported last year that this was one of 3 films that were placed off to the side due to other films coming out, but had a chance to be revisited in the future. One of the other films listed was a third Marine film, which has since been filmed and will star The Miz.
