Plans For Brock Lesnar After SummerSlam, Two Personalities Reportedly Returning, More
- As of writing, there are no plans following the SummerSlam pay-per-view this Sunday to use Brock Lesnar in any capacity until the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January.
- Word making the rounds is that John Laurinaitis has been told by WWE officials that he will be returning to television soon. The rumored new role is said to tie-in with his Executive Vice President past.
- There are several WWE tryout camps coming up over the next few months. Former Tough Enough contestant AJ Kirsch has stated he plans to attend one of them in September that will be hosted by WWE’s developmental territory, NXT Wrestling.
- WWE has reportedly been in negotiations with JBL about a potential return to the company as a commentator for the SmackDown brand alongside Josh Mathews and Michael Cole, merely a week after teasing it on Twitter. If he were to return, he would take over new SmackDown General Manager Booker T’s role in the announce booth.
