Gabe Tuft Gives His Opinion On The Future Of His Former Employer
Gabe Tuft, formerly known as Tyler Reks in WWE, appeared on the Future Endeavors internet radio show this week for an interview and during such he expressed his opinion on what the future holds for his former employer under the eventual guidance of Triple H.
“I truly believe that Hunter is changing the company and looking the at the company long-term, looking at mistakes that were made in the past,” said Tuft. “He’s looking at it now, in my opinion, with the best intentions for the talent. He’s looking at a long-term investment.”
“He (Triple H) is not going to place talent on television until he believes they are 100 percent ready and developed,” Tuft stated when it comes to potential future stars down in NXT. Tuft added that Triple H is a great guy and total professional when it comes to handling the business.
Tuft also discussed the tough decision he made to walk away from the company and become a full-time father, saying, “I just couldn’t handle missing my daughter’s firsts. That’s something I would never be able to get back.” He added that it was hard to tell his friends, such as Curt Hawkins, about his decision to leave.
Other topics discussed during the interview were his time being continuously placed and taken off WWE television throughout his career, why Ryback’s entrance doesn’t include actual pyrotechnics, his partnership with Curt Hawkins and their development as a team and much more.
