*SPOILERS* WWE Main Event Taping Results For Tomorrow Night
WWE Main Event (Airing October 10th on ION Television):
* The show started with Michael Cole and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz in the middle of the ring and they hyped up the match between Big Show and Randy Orton, which led to a video about Show and how is is unstoppable.
* Backstage, Josh Mathews interviewed Big Show about the match with Orton. Show said Orton is going to get a taste of what Sheamus will receive when he challenges for the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell.
* Back in the ring, The Miz talked about being knocked out at the hands of Big Show, saying it doesn’t feel too good. He and Cole then started talking about Orton and how he can pull out any victory when he needed too, leading to a video about him.
* Backstage, Matt Striker interviewed Randy Orton. Striker asked Orton about being attacked by Alberto Del Rio. Orton said he would focus on Del Rio on SmackDown and as for Big Show, he said “lightning can’t strike twice, but a viper can”.
* Big Show b. Randy Orton with a chokeslam. After the match, Show was interviewed by Matt Striker on the stage, saying that Sheamus will suffer the same fate as Orton at Hell in a Cell.
* Backstage, Josh Mathews interviewed World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus about the match for the title against Big Show at Hell in a Cell. Sheamus put over Show, saying when it comes to fighting and there’s no bigger one than against him.
* Kofi Kingston b. Michael McGillicutty with the SOS. After the match, The Miz came in the ring to interview Kofi, who said that while the match was fun, Kofi could never perform at the same level as him.
* A match between Kofi Kingston and The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship was set up when Kofi challenged Miz. At first, Miz said no to the title being up for grabs, but Kofi talked him into it to close the show.
