Details On A Last-Minute Swerve TNA Pulled During Bound For Glory Last Night
As seen during the tag team match between Aces & 8s and the team of Bully Ray and Sting, the team that has reeked havoc over iMPACT Wrestling the past few months gained full access to the show by winning; however, it was the post-match events that had people shocked and left confused.
In the post-match brawl that saw just about every Aces & 8s member attack Bully Ray, Jospeh Park and Sting, Hulk Hogan came out to help and cleaned house except for one member of the group, who ended up being unmasked by Hogan and revealed as Devon, leaving the others in the ring shocked.
The original plan did not have Devon be part of the group, in fact, Devon was not even in Phoenix, Arizona where the pay-per-view was held until just before 9pm. The original plan was to have Bully Ray be part of the group, but that was changed because management thought it would be too obvious. Instead, they decided to have Ray become a tweener as a result of this swerve.
In regards to Devon seemingly being portrayed as the leader of the Aces & 8s, it is believed that he is indeed a top member of the group, but definitely not the leader. The leader has been planned to be Eric Bischoff, but given this swerve that nobody saw coming last night, who knows what the company has in-store regarding who is apart of this group.
