*SPOILERS* SmackDown Taping Results For This Friday, 10/26
SmackDown (Airing October 26th on SyFy):
* The show opened with Randy Orton making his way to the ring. Orton started talking about his rivalry with Alberto Del Rio and their match at Hell in a Cell on Sunday, but was cut off by Del Rio’s music. The two exchanged a few words, but Del Rio backed off when Orton suggested they face off tonight.
* Wade Barrett came out of nowhere and attacked Orton from behind. Barrett is stopped by Senior Adviser to the General Manager Theodore Long backstage and is informed that after what just happened, he will face Orton in a match later tonight.
* Damien Sandow and WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan joined the announce team for the next match.
* WWE Tag Team Champion Kane b. Cody Rhodes with a chokeslam.
* Backstage, Big Show entered the office of SmackDown General Manager Booker T while he was on the phone. Apparently, Booker set up an in-ring face-off between Show and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus before the show even started.
* The Miz b. Yoshi Tatsu with the Skull Crushing Finale in a squash match.
* Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Booker T held a meeting with Aksana, Kaitlyn, Layla and WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres. Senior Adviser Theodore Long was also present. It was revealed that Eve had blackmailed Aksana into attacking Kaitlyn back at the Night of Champions pay-per-view.
* Eve obviously denied it and Long said that’s what he’s been trying to tell Booker the whole time. Booker booked a Triple Threat Divas Championship match at Hell in a Cell, with Eve defending against both Kaitlyn and Layla. Booker also made a tag team match between Aksana and Eve vs. Kaitlyn and Layla.
* Wade Barrett b. Randy Orton with The Souvenir following a distraction from Alberto Del Rio.
* It is advertised that during the pre-show before the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, John Cena will address the controversy surrounding himself and AJ Lee.
* Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus interrupted SmackDown General Manager Booker T, who again was in the middle of a phone conversation. Sheamus assured Booker he will walk out of Hell in a Cell still the champion.
* Aksana and WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres b. Kaitlyn and Layla when Layla accidentally hit Kaitlyn with a Lay-Out that was intended for Eve. After the match, Kaitlyn confronted Layla about what happened, which made Eve very happy.
* Backstage, Daniel Bryan and Kane argued about being the tag team champions. Kane teased Bryan about his match up next.
* Cody Rhodes and WWE Tag Team Champion Kane joined the announce team for the next match.
* Damien Sandow b. WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan with a neck breaker after Rhodes shoved Bryan into the ring post outside while the referee wasn’t looking.
* Josh Mathews came out to the ring escorted by a dozen security guards. Mathews introduced the competitors for the World Heavyweight Championship match at Hell in a Cell on Sunday, the challenger Big Show and the champion Sheamus. Security stood between them to avoid a brawl.
* Big Show said that the W.M.D. is the most destructive move in WWE history and it’s more powerful than the Attitude Adjustment, the Rock Bottom, the Stunner and most importantly, the Brogue Kick. Sheamus retorted by saying he accepts the challenge of conquering the giant because he loves to fight, maybe more than he loves a pint of ale.
* Show kept throwing jabs at Sheamus after that and eventually Sheamus charged through the line of security guards and attacked Show. Sheamus went for a Brogue Kick, but Show ducked out of the ring. Sheamus ended up hitting a Brogue Kick on one of the guards to let out his anger to close the show.
